Odissi Dance Recital by Vidushi Kavita Dwibedi at DPS, GBN
Delhi Public School Gautam Buddh Nagar Chapter of SPIC MACAY (Society for the Promotion of Indian Classical Music and Culture Amongst Youth) organised a divine and soulful Odissi Dance Recital by Vidushi Kavita Dwibedi on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, in the School’s Tagore Auditorium.
The audience witnessed a riveting performance by Vidushi Kavita Dwibedi and accompanying artists- Shri Prashant Mangaraj at the Mardal, Shri Prashant Behera at Vocals and Shri Gopinath Swain at the Voilin. Vidushi Kavita Dwibedi is one of India’s most celebrated Odissi dancers, honoured with numerous national and international awards over her distinguished career. She is a recipient of the Odisha State Sangeet Natak Akademi Award, along with other prestigious accolades that mark her contribution to Indian classical dance
Principal, Ms Supriti Chauhan, thanked the artists for their remarkable performance and advised students to always learn more about the traditional music and culture of India.
